1. Who we are

EFITracer is a free web app for uploading, viewing, and sharing aftermarket EFI datalogs. We operate the Service at efitracer.com .

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information collected automatically:

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. An account is optional. You can view a shared log or upload a log without signing up.
• Logs you upload. The datalog file itself, plus any notes you add such as a filename or vehicle description.
• Usage information. Pages you visit, links you follow, and standard request data (such as browser type and approximate location derived from IP address) collected through analytics.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide the Service, including parsing logs, showing analysis, and hosting share links
• Create and maintain your account, if you have one
• Keep the Service secure and diagnose problems
• Understand how the Service is used so we can improve it
• Respond to your requests

We do not sell your personal information or your logs.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service, or when you choose to share it:

• Share links. A log at a share URL can be viewed by anyone who has that link. Do not send a link you want to keep private.
• Service providers. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores uploaded files. OpenPanel provides product analytics (page views and outbound links). These providers process data on our behalf.
• Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service or our users.

5. How long we keep information

• Logs uploaded without an account are deleted after 7 days, unless someone views the share link — each view extends storage to 30 days from that visit.
• Logs saved to an account stay until you delete them or close the account.
• Account email is kept for as long as the account is open.
• Analytics data is kept by OpenPanel according to their retention settings.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use a session cookie so you can stay logged in. We use OpenPanel to measure visits and outbound clicks. OpenPanel may set its own cookies or similar technologies. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

7. Security

The Service is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed. Access to uploaded files is limited to the systems that provide the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use share links with care.

8. Your choices

• You may use the Service without creating an account.
• You may delete logs you own from your garage.
• You may request access to or deletion of your account or uploaded logs by emailing us at the address below.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
